Community Impact Bucks

Description

Community Impact Bucks support people and groups to get involved in their local communities and make Buckinghamshire a better place to live.

They do this by offering expert advice and training, helping people to find volunteering opportunities, and helping charities and not-for-profit groups to get started, be effective and grow. They also have a number of directly delivered community services which focus on supporting those most in need – the elderly, vulnerable and socially isolated.

As an independent charity, they are the Council for Voluntary Service, Volunteer Centre, and Rural Community Council for Buckinghamshire supported by Action with Communities in Rural England (ACRE). By supporting and enabling voluntary and community action in the county, we work to make Buckinghamshire a better place to live.
